Assistant Driller �?? Integrity Drilling & Geophysical Services, LLC, Groveland, Lake County, FL Responsibilities: �?� Assisting Driller/Operator with maintenance and tools �?� Perform various drilling activities including assisting the Driller/Operator with soil drilling, sampling, classification, in-situ testing, and monitoring well installation �?� Responsible for maintaining necessary logs/records and filing reports �?� Responsible for safety procedures on site Requirements include: �?� High school diploma/GED is required. �?� Valid driver's license is required �?� Requires ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds regularly �?� Requires ability to stand for long periods 8-10 hours daily, with periodic rest breaks �?� Smoothly and quickly connect and disconnect the lower parts of the drill pipe when it is being lowered into and raised from the test hole �?� Label sample containers as directed �?� Assist driller in maintenance and repairs to drill rig �?� Must be able to perform duties in varying weather and site conditions �?� Work atmosphere will normally be loud due to noise from drill rigs �?� Must be able to go out of town for periods of 1 week at a time on a frequent basis �?� Have reliable transportation to and from work �?� Must be able to pass immediate drug test and background investigation and have acceptable driving record within company standards Preferred: �?� Ability to obtain a Class A CDL �?� Geotechnical experience �?� Mechanical skills preferred �?� Basic first aid or equivalent training IDGS is a Drug-Free Workplace. On May 25, 2018, David Wilshaw MS, PG assumed control of shares in I.D.G.S. that were previously owned by the entity Scientific Applications in Forensic Engineering, LLC (S.A.F.E.). I.D.G.S. is now owned solely by Cory R. Cook and David Wilshaw. All operations are now centered on the Lake County home office at 1506 Max Hooks Road, Suite C, Groveland, FL 34736.
